Abstract: Promote the sustainable coordinated development of China's mining cities, resource-saving and environment-friendly society has an important significance. This paper summarizes existing mining sustainable development on the basis of theoretical research, to economy, society, resources and environment as the core, building reflects the city's economic structure, resource potential and resources development present situation, the comprehensive utilization of resources and ecological environment protection, social security and harmonious mining area for the elements of the comprehensive evaluation index system for mining city sustainable development ability. For scientific evaluation of China's mining city sustainable development ability provides a basis theory, and in view of the bottleneck of resources and environment issue,especially the resource issues, Author puts forward relevant policy suggestions.
