Abstract: The oil and gas resources of Austria mainly depend on the import. Therefore, in order to keep the import channel and source diversification, enhance the international cooperation is very important to the strategy of oil and gas of Austria. Meanwhile, applying new technique to increase the core competitive strength of petroleum corporations, strengthening the internal natural gas exploration and development, paying more attention to oil store and refined are also significant for Austria petroleum industry. Along with strategic research on oil and gas resources of China, we should consider the helpful experience of Austria, to emphasize the reasonable proportion of two markets and two kind resources, to reinforce 3-D seismic survey and to describe finely the oil store. In addition, study and apply on the key problem of super-deep well, deep-water well, mountains seismic survey, reserves exploitation of difficult to use et al., are significant to development of China petroleum industry. In the mean time, to collect and list systematically and analyze the domestic petroleum industry information, can provide scientific evidences for growth of petroleum industry and strategic decision of China.
