Abstract:
Clinoptilolite activated by hydrochloric acid was studied by static adsorption method to assess its capacity for the adsorption of fluoride.The lnfluence of hydrochloric acid concentration,pH valve,contact time and adsorbent dose on the adsorption was investigated.The results showed that the adsorption property increased with increasing concentration of hydrochloric acid.The adsorption equilibrium could reach in 2h.The pH of the solution influenced the adsorption significantly,and the optimized pH was 4.The adsorption isotherms could be modeled by Freundich equation.The adsorption rate could be described by psecdo-second-order kinetics equation.
