Abstract:
Based on one-to-one interviews with 263 coal miners in three coal mining enterprises,this study explored miners’ willingness to accept EAP (Employee Assistance Program) and its influential factors from four aspects:physical health,mental health,job development and individual relationship.One-way ANOVA analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis were adopted in the study.The results showed that:①91.6% of coal miners were willing to accept EAP,and they were more likely to accept scientific designing work,diagnosing and consulting of psychological problems and work-family balance;②The overall willingness-to-accept of coal mining EAP was significant different with age,education,types of work,etc.Older and higher-educated coal miners show a stronger willingness to accept EAP.Underground front-line coal miners had a strongest willingness to accept EAP,followed by underground auxiliary coal miners and ground coal miners;③The superiors’ attitude and the miners’ cognition of EAP had a significant positive predictive effects on the miners’ willingness-to-accept of EAP,while the economic security had a significant negative predictive effects.
