Abstract: Rare earth is a kind of important strategic resources.There are many environmental problems,such as pollution of water,air and soil,damage of land and vegetative cover,loss of water and soil erosion,during the exploiting of rare earth resources in China.Analyzing them from the angle of law,we think the main reasons of these problems include the lack of relevant domestic legislation,defect of legal system,and slackness of implementing and supervising to laws and policies concerned.Therefore,we suggest that we should improve environmental legislation concerned,establish and perfect environmental law systems and strengthen the implementing and supervising of environmental laws.
