Abstract: Because of its characteristics of mining conditions,the safety management for coal mine in Taiwan has certain reference significance to our country.Based on the analysis of coal mining conditions in Taiwan,this paper retrospects the developing history of Taiwan mine security,according to the time it can be divided into three stages,lay particular stress on production and ignore the safety,lay equal stress on coal production and safety management.Safety is more important than production;and emphatically analyzed the important coal security experience and strategy of Taiwan from source of the funds,management system,establishment of training institutions,the training of miners.The experience of extraction and security management in Taiwan is worthy of reference to safety management in China,such as production inputs on the construction and safety,the management of legal system,the role of the autonomy groups in mining area and insurance system of miners.
