Abstract: The Zhongmou depression,which is an area with complicated geological structure by badly tectonic movement.Great effort has been made to prospect for oil and gas here,but it was always barren of result.That's mainly because this depression is the very one of the potential areas with huge difficulty in being tested in China.Forecasting the process and direction of hydrocarbon-drainage in basin,using the technology of creating basin simulation model to do research of depression evolutionary process in hydrothermal stage and hydrocarbon-forming process.And it is helpful to locate the exact prospecting areas and target layers.
