Abstract: In modern society, uranium can be used in many fields in addition to being used as nuclear fuel. It is important for us to conduct a comprehensive research on the usage of uranium and make related policy so that the uranium resource can be better used.This paper first studies the regional and social value of uranium ore, then analyzes the intrinsic economic value,regional industrial value and regional environmental value of uranium ore. This paper then summarizes the significance of the uranium mining industry tothe society into three aspects: the significance to the strategy of central section's rising,the significance to sustainable development, and the significance to national security. Finally,this paper provides some proposals and countermeasures on the harmonious development of Jiangxi province’s uranium industry.
