Abstract: In this paper, in accordance with the finer size distribution of sinking beads in coal ash thebasic principle of separating sinking beads with gydrocyclones is described; the calculation formuIas of separation size and processing capacity are shown out. The one-stage and two-stage separation prodesses werethested and it proved that using the hydrocyclones for classification can realize separation and concentrationof sinking beads
