Abstract: The resources status and mineral processing of pyrochlore were introduced.In the earth,the pyrochlore resources is abundent,but distribute disproportionate.Most of them existed in Brazil,Canada and Central Africa countries.And now,only three pyrochlore mines(Araxa,Catalao,Niobec) are on work.Araxa and Catalao are open-pit mines,and Weathered carbonatite red soil are mined and processed.In Niobeccarbonatite ore is mined underground.The minerals processing flowsheet are same to Araxa,even the ore character are difference.The flowsheet is Desliming-Carbonate/Silicateflotation-Dewatering-Pyrochlore flotation-Sulphide flotation-Leaching.
