Abstract:
The causes to the cracking of the rural buildings are analyzed from the perspectives of open-pit mine slope stability, blasting vibration and the non-uniform settlement, which indicate that the slope's global stability is in a good state,so it is unlikely to occur landslide. The generated blasting vibration speed is within allowable range, which will not do harm to nearby rural buildings. The building's foundation is composed of Quaternary topsoil, and the compressibility of strata is explicitly different, which justify that it is the uneven settlement that mainly result in the cracking of the rural buildings.
