Abstract:
The Tiekeng limonite has a low iron grade and a high content of SiO
2,and is currently processed with magnetic separation-flotation flowsheet,with a high operating cost and low iron recovery.There would be a high production cost and a low iron recovery when using magnetic separation-flotation process to separate this ore.A primary grinding and magnetic separation-fine grinding and reconcentration process was tested to process the limonite with SLon high gradient magnetic separator,and an iron concentrate assaying 53.16% with 64.91% recovery was achieved,at a low SiO
2 content of 8.13%.
