Abstract: The reasonable depth and moving distance in the cyclic-flow technology are both importantmining parameters during transition from cyclic to cyclic-flow technology, which are much effectiveon the mine's economic benefits. In this article, the "Group Bench Unit Body" rnethod for determinationof the both important parameters is pesented first of all. Use of this mecthod inHuolinhe Coal Mine has got a satisfactory result, and the method is also suitable to use for othersimilar mines.
