Abstract: Mineral resources are the important materials elements of the development of society and economic.This paper shows the problems in exploitation and utilization of mineral resources in China,analyses the objectively reasons leading to the resource waste from the stage of society,degree of science and technology and distribution of mineral resources,lastly the authors puts forward some strategy how to ensure china's sustainable development of mineral resources,including by all means to turnoff small mines,protecting environment,improving the policy of mineral industrial,studying new technology,carrying out globalism and a strong resources country strategy.
