Abstract: Exploration and development of resource-based cities due to the rise of resources,mineral resources to provide the driving force for the development of the city,but also to provide protection for the development and construction of the country.A limited number of non-renewable resources decided to face the problem of resource-based cities declining of mine.this paper,taking tongling as an example,study the transformation of the main path,which extends the resource-based industrial diversification,developes nonresource-based industries to upgrade and deepen the effects of the economic cycle,as well as analyze different transition paths generated;then the paper made recommendationgs of Coordinating solid alternative industries,improving levels of industrial products,rawing materials supply channels to expand the consolidation of regional economic transformation results.
