Abstract: The magnetic system structure parameters of permanent Magnetic Drum Separator,shape and size of the magnetic block is differ in thousands of ways,also have different effects on the mineral separat-ion influence.Optimized research the magnetic system structure of drum magnet separator using on ANS-YS,analyzing the changes in the permanent magnet arrangement lead to the different characteristics of the magnetic field strength,magnetic field gradient change of its permanent magnet arrangement.The conclusion:there is no direct impact on the width of the main magnetic pole in the circumferential direction of the magnetic field gradient,the magnetic field gradient in the vertical direction with the decrease of the wi-dth of the main magnetic pole becomes large;inconsistent width of the main magnetic pole disposed in-termittently can improve the strength of the magnetic field and the magnetic field gradient,and increase t-he frequency and the magnetic roll;add auxiliary magnetic pole increases the effect of the higher magn-etic field region of space,while increasing the magnetic field gradient in the circumferential direction.
