Abstract:
According to the present situation that the difficult separation and low grade of collophanite in Yi Chang, based on the ore properties, the three-product dense medium cyclone fed with no pressure was applied in the separation of collophanite and the structure characteristics of the heavy medium cyclone were briefly introduced in this paper. The practice shows that the process has reached the expected separation effect in Huaguoshu concentration plant, which proves that the heavy medium separation process is feasible. Compared with the traditional flotation separation process, the heavy medium separation process is simple and reliable, environment-friendly, and has the feature of using low density suspension to realize high density characteristics of mineral separation. The application on this process has some degree of guiding significance in the proper development and effective utilization of the low and middle grade of Yi Chang collophanite.
