Abstract: Vanadium,as one of the important strategic metals,is applied widely in steel,aerospace,chemical industry et al.This paper introduces the production of vanadium in main vanadium-producing countries,elucidates the application and consumption of vanadium,and analyzes the trends of vanadium price on international markets in recent years.Moreover,the influence factors on vanadium's price and the development of global vanadium industry in the future are also discussed here.It is expected that the supply and consumption of vanadium in the world will maintain the balance and the price of vanadium,estimated near to that in 2005 or 2006,will keep steady in the next few years.
