Abstract: The technology of blowing reasonable quantity of coal fines into blastfurnace for coke saving is widely used now in the iron making industry.China possesses rich resources of high quality coal that is suitable for blowing into blastfurnace.The requirement on coal quality and the influences of coal properties are discussed.It is absolutely necessary to speed up construction of bases producing coal fines suitable for blowing into blastfurnace and create famous brands to meet demand of home and abroad market.
