Abstract: Sustainable exploitation of mineral resources is the key issue of executing strategy to achieve sustainable development of economy.Theoretically,endless exploitation of mineral resources is impossible because the resources are naturally limited.Therefore,a reasonable definition of sustainable exploitation of mineral resources is very important to reach the goal that present mining meets people's requirement of today but does not influence requirement of people of future generations.Sustainable exploitation of mineral resources and coditions for its realization are studied in the paper.
