Abstract: this paper integrates EGIS with coal field environmental management to build Coal Field Environmental Information Management SystemEIMSin order to resolve environmental problems for coal field plannersand illustrates detailedly Coal Field EIMS's network architectureflow of software developmentdata managementenvironmental modeling and functions.The Coal Filed EIMS utilizes EGIS technology to manage spatial geographic information and environmental morning data of Coal Fieldredicts states of coal field environmental pollution discharge with the help of modeling of environmental analysis and predictionand in further display the results.The system provides decision-support for coal field environmental planning.
