Abstract:
using Datun mine area’s the sixth phase time-sequenced TM/ETM+ image that the time is 1984~2014,and based on remote sensing(RS) and geographical information system (GIS).To apply model (TM3-TM5)/(TM3+TM5) to extract information of Datun mine area’s surface water.And analyses area change from macroscopic.With the support of software platform Fragstats4.0,also with the help of the methods from landscape ecology,choosing Class Area(CA),Patch Number(NP),Mean Patch Size(MPS),Land Shape Index (LSI),Area Weighted Mean Patch Fractal Dimension (AWMPFD),COHESION,Landscape Fragmentation Index(CI) those indexes and it have detailed carvings of surface water resources spatial-temporal characteristics.The results prove that mining activity will enlarge surface water’s area.But the form of expression is quite different.At the early stage for mining,it shows the quantity of the small patches rise rapidly.At the middle-late stage for mining,it shows the fusion of the patch and single patch’s expansion.Furthermore,recently,the surface water in mining area and it has a lower degree of landscape fragmentation,meanwhile,the border are increasingly complex and irregular.
