Abstract: In this paper, focusing on the lean manganese ore from Hunan, the technical approaches ofacidic leaching of the ore, purifying of manganese leaching solution and crystallizing of manganese carbonatefrom purified manganese solution are studied; and the overall flowgheet of preparing high-purity manganesecarbonate from lean manganese ore is proposed.
