Abstract: Global minerals market's current downturn will hit harder and last longer amid world economy recession and China economy's slowdown. The growth trend of mining investment in recent years will change because of the minerals price diving. Ocean and polar resources conflict between nations will continue and increase. Facing the difficult challenge, adequate policies should be developed to have the initiative by China mining industry.
