Abstract: In this paper, regression analysis of relation beween total iron groade, soluble iron grade andmagnetic iron grade is made; a new thinking about regression analysis is presented; and repression equations areset up by section. The resultS of sample analysis for geologic exploration are utilzed, so a difficult problem incurrent production is solved.
