Abstract: Copper is an important non-ferrous metal resource,this article analyzed copper resources supply and demand trends from three aspects including history,the present situation,and the future,as well as the impact resulted from the future copper supply and demand pattern conversion.Global copper resources supply will be tight for a long time.Center of the consumption of copper resources has been changed from Europe and North America to China,and in the future,it is likely shifted to India and southeast Asia gradually.The America will maintain as the resources supply center for a long time,but with the gradual development of resources,Africa could take a breakthrough.Refined copper prices will remain in high level for a long time.
