Abstract:
Under a certain condition of heating and mixing, bentonite, sodium alginate, polyvinyl alcohol and water can make into bentonite globule. The result show that, by using it to treat the nickel wastewater,when the initial concentration of Ni
2+ is 10mg/L,under the following condition: pH≈5,dosage of globule 5.0g(wet weight), temperature 25℃, vibration velocity 110r/min,elapsed time of vibration 25mins,the removal rate of Ni
2+ by treatment of bentonite globule can reach greater than 97.6% After processing, the concentration of the remaining nickel in wastewater is lower than the national maximum allowable emission standard. After the process of reproducing,bentonite globule can still have a good removal rate under the best treatment condition.
