Abstract: Sulfur is mainly used for the production of fertilizer,is directly related to national food security.However sulfur resources in China is high external dependency,and china is the largest important of sulfur resources.How to ensure the security of the supply of sulfur resources is the urgent problem need to solve.This paper first introduced the current reserves,production and consumption of sulfur resource,and the supply and demand situation of sulfur resources is analyzed and predicted based on the development of related industries and possible changes of the policies of sulfur resources in China.Finally on the basis of this we put forward some countermeasures to ensure the safety of China′s sulfur resources supply,such as actively adjusting the industrial structure,optimizing the source of supply of sulfur resources,increasing the intensity of sulfur resource recovery,setting up reasonable industrial layout,and improving the efficiency of resource utilization,improving the concentration of enterprises,enhancing the international voice,attaching great importance to the talent training,and improving the core competitiveness,so as to formulate reasonable sulfur resources development strategy in our country,the self-sufficient in sulfur resources fully,to provide theoretical support to protect the safety of food in our country.
