Abstract: From the point of view of evaluating nickel-cobalt resources in western region of china,the paper analyses the importance of demonstrated reserves and potential reserves in the region,points out the possibility of seeking for developable foreign nickel-cobalt resources as stable raw material sources.For evaluating nickel-cobalt resources,modern technologies such as geological,geophysical and geochemical analyses and surveys have been proven as effective.
