Abstract: The kyanite is one of fire-proof material important raw materials, the widespread application in other metallurgies, building materials and industry sectors, because of it includes the iron, causes to affect its commercial value. Some Hebei kyanite quarry in rubbing degree of fineness -0.074mm accounts for 65%, pulsation stroke is 25mm, the pulp mass concentration is 30%, the pulsation to 320 per minute, in the magnetic induction intensity 16000 Oe situations, can remove the iron impurity in ore effectively. LGS series vertical induction wet strong magnetic ore separator at the scene continuous working 30 labor classes, the product target is quite stable. Analysis of strongly magnetic tailings, the Al₂O₃ content are 22.38%, the iron is 1.56%, the Al₂O₃ returns-ratio is 42.66%,has created the condition for the following separation。
