Abstract: The development of recycle economy is a necessary choice in constructing harmonious mining areas and realizing sustainable development in mining areas.The connotation of recycle economy and the application of traditional "3R" priciples are briefly introduced firstly in this paper.Then on the basis of the analysis of the characteristics of three aspects of economy,resources and environment in mining areas,other two principles of "research" and "replace" are put forward.Finally,on the foundation of "5R" principles,the evaluation index system and calculation method are put forward,in order to promote the development of recycle economy in mining areas.
