Abstract: There is about 4Mt oxidized copper ore above -40m level at South Zone of Wushan Copper Mine.To recovery the uneasily mining and processing ore,the in situ leaching had been tested in 1994.The test involved mineralogical study,leaching conditions experiment,modeling liquid flowing through orebody,permeability test of ore,geological and hydrogeologic survey,field injection test and leaching extraction electrowinning test.Technical and economical analysis also had been made for this project.This program had attained advanced indexes:leaching recovery rate 68%,rich liquid collection rate 65%,extractional rate 95%,electrolytic rate 98%,cost 9990 4/t Cu.A complete in situ leaching technology for underground mine hasbeen established.
