Abstract:
Separation technology of Xuanlong-type oolitic hematite has been a technical problem in the world.The mineralogical characteristics study results of low grade(TFe<40%) PangJiaBao oolitic hematite show that the main iron mineral is hematite,and the gangue minerals mainly are quartz,epidote,chlorite and so on.Oolitic hematite ore and gangue minerals distribute as circular concentric layers.Because the iron mineral and gangue mineral are mixed in mineral aggregate,it is difficulty to achieve mineral liberation and separate the minerals.Strong magnetic separation-flotation separation,strong magnetic separation-gravity separation,magnetic roasting-low intensity magnetic separation-flotation separation are the main separation process of Xuanlong-type oolitic hematite,but there is no mature industrial application examples at present.Strengthening ultrafine grinding technology and selective dissociation technology,developing the micro particle separation process,equipment and agent,innovating the metallurgy and mineral associated process,and determining reasonable processing limit are the development tendency of Xuanlong-type oolitic hematite.It will provide support for industrial application of refractor iron ores by strengthening the processing technology research.
