Abstract: On the basis of experiences and lessons concluded from developing and applying Geology/Survey/Mining CAD system, the AutoCAD-based one has been developed. The pratice in Shirengou IronMine proved that its decision and technical line are OK. It not only can obviously economize the costs ofsoftware development and maitenance, but also provide a powerful tool to futher improve the system forcustomers. The system has good univesality and transplantability.
