Abstract:
A Dynamic Simulation Model of the exploitation of mineral resources is set up with the help of SD (system dynamics) which is an effective tool for complicated problems and complex systems. The causal relationship diagram of the exploitation of mineral resources is also drawn, on the basis of which, together with the flow diagram, DYNAMO equations are formed. After theoretical and historical simulation examinations, this model is used to simulate and forecast the exploitation of resources for one mining area. The research shows that the model, simulating adequately the practical conditions, is effective and credible. It will help to elicit correct development strategies for chinese mining areas; Meanwhile, it can, both in theory and practice, facilitate the coordinate and sustainable development for those areas.
