Abstract: Based on analysis of geological structure of the northern zone of Laizhou city where gold ore mining activities take place since a long time,the paper analyses the regularity of geological troubles such as earth surface subsidence,slope sliding and points out reasonable and effective measures to be taken to avoid such accidents.
