Abstract: Bauxite is an abundant supply of mineral ores in Guangxi Province, owing considerable prospecting potential. The bauxite ores explored and utilized occupies only 8% of the total reserves. This paper, based on analyses of general geological characteristics and metallogenic rules, and present utilization situation, suggests that we should plan a comprehensive exploration of the whole resources, expedite prospecting and exploitation, and make a reasonable use of the resources in the province.
