Abstract: Currently,the domestic energy consumption structure is adjusting steadily,and the perspective of domestic coal market is not good.Inner Mongolia,as China's major coal producing area,is facing both challenges and opportunities.Based on Inner Mongolia coal industry long-term development strategies,this paper used the analytic hierarchy process method,and established the Inner Mongolia coal industry investment environment index system,which are resource conditions,infrastructure,business costs and profit outlook,according to it,this paper analyzed and evaluated the investment environment of Inner Mongolia coal industry with various comprehensive factors of Inner Mongolia regions and combining with the state and local government planning.According to the research,as China's dominant mineral,coal will continue to occupy the important position in China's energy consumption structure.As the main coal production area,Inner Mongolia should take long-term plan,actively adjust the structure of coal production and promote the field of coal intensive processing.For the investment in the coal industry in Inner Mongolia,Hulunbeier,Ordos and Hinggan League should be the best investment city,and the investment projects should be coal,coal washing and coal chemical industry.
