Abstract: The underground mine of Ji,lchuan Non-ferrous Metals COrporation is located in high stratastrafe it applies the cementation filling mining. The mining efficiency has increased by scientific-technicalprogress and uninterrupted approching to the new mining and stoping technologies. To improve the filling system, new techonologies, new techniques and new materials had been researched and tested. To strengthen theresearch of rock mechanics for projects, the deep research of the mechanical mechanism of filled mass was made.The mechanized cementation filling technique was developed. The modernized mine management system was established. Through the progr of many year, a set of effective mining mades were formed progressivdy, largearea downward continuous stoping without pillars was applied, and the targets of high--output, high--efficiency,low loss, and low dilution were achieved. However, many challenges are still faced with future deep mining.
