Abstract: The paper mainly discussed how coal enterprises gain competitive advantage from the coordination of strategic alliance and M&A. Firstly, the paper showed the concept and feature of strategic alliance and M&A, and then analyzed them based on theory of industrial evolution. Lastly, the paper presented the model that coal enterprises gain competitive advantage by strategic alliance and M&A in order to show a valuable idea to coal enterprises.
