Abstract: China′s mining enterprises have accumulated a large amount of tailings,the grade of ore is still high in tailings,even higher than industrial grade,and there are lots of useful components in the ore tailings.Still more,long time and large number of pile up always lead all kinds of negetive effect.This paper first analyzed the development potential of the tailings and the negative impact;and then analyzed the current state of research and utilization of tailings;last,given the relevant policy recommendations.
