Abstract: Some non-metallic minerals especially clay mineral materials possess better adsorption and ion exchange capacity, so exhibit wider application prospect in wastewater treatment. The properties and structure of bentonite, attapulgite clay, sepiolite clay, diatomite, zeolite and their application as adsorption were introduced in this paper, their development later were also discussed.
