Abstract: Combined ecosyem health theory with the development characteriics of mining area, the paper discusses the research content and connotation of mining area ecosyem health, expounds the correlation between the suainable management of mining area environment and the mining area ecosyem health. Then it offers the process of mining area ecosyem health assessment.
