Abstract: There are more than 120 mining cities in China, which are important in the economic development of our country.In the global financial crises, mining cities are all facing the austere challenges. The current situation and existing problems of mining cities were analyzed.Generally, the problems included unreasonable industrial structure, resources shortage and the eco-environment pollution.Based on the advantageous status,Some suggestions for sustainable development of mining cities are proposed, for example, adjust and optimize industrial structure,develop circular economy,enhance environmental protection and so on.
