Abstract: Combined with the current status of the geological data and its actual technological development,this paper studies on the basic connotation and features of the geological data.The geological data have the attributes of both files and data,and are of important knowledge value.The geological data are essentially owned by the state,and should implement integrated management.The geological data are then associated with data resources,information services and informatization,finally promoting the geological data information services clusterization and industrialization in China.
