Abstract: In the early stage of coal mine production, the shallow water-bearing strata are the main factors that affect the mining safety, whereas the deep water-bearing strata have little effect on coal production. The water pressure of the coal mine is increasing quickly with the increase of the mining depth. Therefore, the impacts of deep water-bearing strata on coal production become more and more serious. The high water pressure and quosity in deep water-bearing strata not only cause the water inrush become more violent and swift, but also gush much more water. All of them greatly enhance the difficult of controlling water inrush. Major characteristics and the water bursting regular pattern in deep water-bearing strata were systematically summarized in this paper. Therefore, this paper has an important meaning to the mine water control work.WT
