Abstract: In view of the various problems involved in management decision of overseas oil and gas projects, the paper puts forward the economic evaluation thoughts and technical route processes.The core content of the economic evaluation, including the key parameters and different information extraction and data analysis methods are analyzed.Then, the practical application of the evaluation thoughts in the operating decisions of the overseas oil and gas projects such as retreat, repurchase, expansion and postponement is demonstrated by examples.The objective is to determine the final decision-making plan through economic evaluation, by whether the judgment conditions accord with the company’s financial indicators.
