Abstract:
The manganese content of a certain fine-disseminated manganese oxide ore tailings is 21.53%,mainly existing in the form of pyrolusite and rhodochrosite.Four mineral processing flowsheets of gravity separation,combined process of gravity separation and magnetic concentration,high intensity magnetic separation after classifying,and high intensity magnetic separation with the whole size range were investigated.Lastly,the coarse aggregate dressing process of high intensity magnetic separation with the whole size range was considered to be the best.Under the magnetic field intensity of 887 kA/m,the manganese concentrate yield is 45.56%,and the grade of which is 30.35%,with the manganese recovery going up to 64.43%.The concentrate quality reaches the requirements of the grade AMn 30-Ⅲ-Ⅲ-Ⅰin the ferrous metallurgy industry standard YB/T 319-2005
