Abstract:
This modification persists the correct direction of 1999 Classification (GB/T17766-1999), emphases on to make up for a deficiency of level confusing on the C axis. It conforms the first level classification as the major classes, divided based on exploration stages and keep consistence with UN international framework classification of reserves/resources; the second level distinguished based on blocks, and still use A,B,C,D,E,F categories to remain the best features of past Chinese Classification. To delete the prolixity and keep simple and understandability, merge the 2S and 2M categories on the E axis. For the "detailed exploration", use the different Chinese word. This modification is simple and understandability, and is correlates easily with UN international framework classification, so is convenient for international exchange and category correlation, and kept the features of original Chinese Classification. It can solve many problems such as complex category coding of 1999 Classification, in which the same item was considered as the results of different feasibility study levels, the class and category mixed with each other, all of them depreciates Chinese mineral reserves and resources classification; it can also solve the problem on the connection between reserves review and feasibility study, fits to the current adminitrative system either, and accomplish the smooth transition from 1999 Classification.
