Abstract: The detection of cavities and burning hotspots under the fire zone are very important during the coal fire fighting process, which could hardly be solved by the conventional detection technologies. The application of combined high resolution magnetic and electric instrument and TEM may effectively solve this technical problem for ensuring safety and efficiency during the fire fighting operations now.
